The chapter chose designer Linda Lundstrom as its hbnoree and held a brunch and fashion show, to which she brought the garments at her own expense. ■
Each region will honor a prominent Canadian artist with a scholarship created in his or her name to go to a deserving fashion student at the Neri Bloomfield Haifa College in Israel.

Although Red Lake, Ont.-native Lundstrom now is based in Toronto, she spent some of her youth-in-Winnip^g.
Local Hadassah-WIZO president Sharon Weinstein said the chapter said Lundstrom's-family is still living in the community.
