new ntaiii' sanctuary adjuining its existing building at 3600 BathnrKt Street.
The new structure, designed by architect Irving Grossman, will be octangular in shape and designed to not only cover harmoniously the land on which it will stand but will blend with the existing building. The interior is unique in that the Bimah (officiating platform) is located in a central i)osition in a mannei' so that no congregant will be further from the officiating Reader, Cantor or Rabbi than nine row?. The design is such that the seating capacity will lie 8.')0. The existing social hall \s liich will be enlarged and the secondary social hall will f.uinsli room for another 850 persons.
