The sixth annual Toronto United Jewish Appeal Study Mission leaves for Paris, Marseilles and Israel on Sunday afternoon. The Mission was invited by the Government of Israel and the Karen Hayesod in Jerusalem to make an intensive fact-finding survey of the problems of absorbing immigrants into the economic and social life of Israel.
Sirriultaneously, another invitation, from the Joint Distribution Committee in Geneva, wa's~extended to the Mission to study the needs of distressed Jews in Europe and from North Africa.
YOUNG LEADERS
This year's Mission has the distinction of being the youngest group of Jewish community leaders to make such an important journey in behalf of the community. Led by H. Wayne Tanen-baqm Member Board of Directors, the Canadian Jewish News, the Mission includes Morris Adams, Barney Arthur I. Cole, Moe Emer, BarenhoUz, Jeffrey Cohen, Louis Fruitman, Carl Goodman, Dr. Gerald Halbert, Harold Lederman, Albert Mandel, Stanley F. Paulin, Bernard J. Persiko, Murray Rumack, CA.. William Stem, Murray L. Taube and Harvey S. Wolfe.

The group expressed itself as particularly interested in their forthcoming visit to Paris and Marseilles.
