The world ORT union, a beneficiary of the United Jewish Appeal of Toronto, is preparing both emergency and long-range plans in vocational training to take care of present and future Jewish refugee migration which continues on a massive scale in many parts of the world.
These plans were disclosed follpy/ing a ^co'nfereiice of the organization in France attended by two hundred
and fifty delegates from thirty countries.
The world ORT union also intends to expand its vocational training activities on behalf of more than 120,000 North African repatriates and refugees to faci litate their economic integration in France. A nationwide program in Israel, of training for 10,000 to 15,000 youth of recent immigration origin also will be created.
