DUKE ELLINGTON MUSIC
Duke Ellington composed the music for Pousse-Cafe, the new musical starring Theodore Bikel and ...Lilo, which will have its world premiere at O'Keefe Center beginning January 24th. The musical is set in New Orleans during the 1920's Marshall Barer wrote the lyrics.
PousseCafe deals with a professor who falls in love with a French honky-tonk entertainer in the Crescent City's French Quarter.

ROTHSCHILD WINS CASE AGAINST WRITER
PARIS (JCN'S) - Flammarion. I he French publishers, have agreed to settle out of court the claim for damages tor slander brought against thern by the French Rothschild family.
The claim arose because I ho family sued Flammaricn over a book called "U-s Juifs" ("The Jews") by Roger Peyrefitte. in which aspersions were cast o.i the ancestr\- of the Rothschilds
The court has ordered the excision of certain offensive passages from the book.
