The program bias been continuing this week, registrations of donors were still being sought and it was anticipated that blood donations would continue to be accelpted during the coming weeks.
Prospective blood donors were advised to telephone the Zionist Centre (787-6171); or either the Downtown or Northern Branches of the YMHA (WA.4-6211 or ME.6-1880 respectively) or their nearest synagogue.

OVER JUST BECAUSE THE FIGHTING HAS STOPPED
Nor are the obligations of Toronto Jewry to Israel fulfilled just because ottiers have given willingly and selflessly.
The Israel Emergency Fund will not measure up until every Jew has contributed to the maximum of his or her ability.
There is no final goal. How can there be a point where we can stop and say we have done all we can when the needs of Israel in this crisis are so enormous?
