B<miL (JCNSt) - Right-wing extremism is gabdng ground hi West Cermai^ - and this time, it is the Federal Interior Ministry itself which admits it. An official report issued on Tuesday warned that the National Democratic Party was strengthening its organlzatioQ and improving its hdd on German workers.
Figures for NDP membership given by the Mhiis-try, hi its annual report on extremism and antisemitism hi the Federal Republic, are tiie same as last year: 28,-000. This is some 10,000 fewer than tte party, led by Adolf von Thadden, clahns for itself.
Among the NDP members, the report stated, were 2.400 former high ranUng Nazi party officials or ex-Nazis who had Johied HiUer's movement before he came to power in 19Si3.
The menace of a Nazi revival, it says, serves to feed Communist attacks on the Federal R^blic andtopre-Judice friendly^relations with other nations. But of the threat increasingly posed to the democratic structure of the Federal RepubUc itself there is scarcely any acknowledgement With theNDP now seatied hi six of West Germany's eleven State leg-^ islatures and certain to wfai seats hi i seventh, Baden-Wurttemberg, later this mtmth, Uiere is growing cm-cem in liberal circles that something must be done to halt the tide.

His first project was the fhiancmg of apre-university preparatory programme for Sepbardi youth in the last stages of Army service. Now, six years later, the first 28 students have graduated from the Tech-nion.
