The City of Miami Beach was lncorix)rated March 26, 1915. It is largely the outgrowth of the vision of one man, Carl graham Fisher. ■Fisher, an Indiana sports-. man millionaire, saw the resort and residential potential of the island which then was being developed largely along agricultiii^d lines by John S. Collins and his son-in-law, T.J. Pancoast. Collins had attempted to develdp parts of Miami Beach, unsuitable for agriculture, as a residential resort arealjut ran out of funds.

of Jewish families to decide to fully idcQtlfy with Israel, and to show the concrete form of solidarity represented In obtaining an apartment here," he said.
The price of new condominiums or private villas range up from $30,000 in a variety of residential units in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Herzllya, Ramat Gan, and other prime locations. Many of these purchases, it was noted, are being made by American buyers through the use of their Israel Bonds.
The acquisition of the apartments, it was noted, represents an important export trade for the country, whose product remains in Israel. The added value to the economy of local supplies' and labor is almost 80% of the purchase price, higher than in any other export liv-dustry.
Most ISRALOM buyers use their apartments as a comfortable l>ase for frequent vacation or business trips, ' for youngsters studying in Israel and as a future home for retirement or extended visits, Ruskin added;
