On Sunday. March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the north branch of the JCC. children of Holocaust survivors who are interested in . exploring and understanding the . impact of the Holocaust on their lives will have a chance to meet Doris Epstein, a group, leader who has worked many years with survivors and their families. All Jewish war veterans from Canada are invited by the people and government of Holland to attend the 35th anniversary of ■ the liberation of that country. Discussing "World Turmoil and the Jewish condition," Howard Stanis-lawski, consultant to the foreign affairs committee of Canadian B'nai B'rith, recently completed a four-day speaking tour to B'nai B'rith lodges and Jewish coriimunities in the Maritime provinces. Stariislawski's tour was covered extensively by newspapers, radio and TV throughout the Maritimes.

A former Torontonian. Jack Sheriff,
graduate of Harbord Collegiate and the University of Toronto, is back in town to take the starring role of Tevye in the Nova Scotia Kipawb Showboat Company, production of '"Fiddler oh the Roof" at
the Toronto Free Theatrefrdm March 18 to 23. Sheriff has been an English professor at Acadia University in Wolf-ville, N.S. for the last 22 years.
Sammy Calih, lyricist and popular song maestro who was nominated for 33 Academy Awards is currently at the Royal York Hotel Imperial Room until Saturday March 29, with a show called "Words and Music."

North York alderman Peter Qarke has • come up with a real service for the elderly and physically handicapped constituents in his ward. Last year, Qarke bought a snowplow which he fitted on to his jeep and cleaned away the snowbanks tifiatwere left by the huge street snowplows. for 35 people who became his"regular" customers. Stephen E. Rudin has been appointed executive director of the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, according to an announcement this week by the centre's president; Edwin Goldstein. Rudin's appointment is effective April 1.
Rudin, 36, who takes over the leadership of the five-institution complex for the aged and i:hronic-allyill from Sam Ruth, has been administrator of Baycrest Hospital since 1977. He joined the centre in July, 1970, as assistant administrator and was promoted to associate administrator in 1975.
A niative of Sioux Falls, S.D., he graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of. Science in 1964. In 1968 he received his Master's degree in Administrative Rehabilitation from Northeastern
in announcing the appointment. "When Sam Ruth expressed his wish a year ago to move out of active administration and into leadership of the new Baycrest Foundation, we established a search committee to seek out a new executive director. We are doubly delighted that the
final choice was a man from within our own ranks, because it proves the soundness aijd depth of pur recruitment program."
Riidin is married to the former Susan Lessinger of New York City. They have three children: Seth, 9; Matthew, 7 andllana, 4.
