BERNARD BETEL CENTRE
At the Bernard Betel Centre for Creative Living, 1003 Steeles Aye. (just west of Bathurst St.) there is duplicate bridge every Tuesday evening, with a lecture at 7 o'clock and games beginning at 7.30* Director is Roy Longo. Cost is $1.50 per person and everyone in the community is welcome.
The Centre is now offering English as a Second Language Monday and Wednesday mornings, 9.30-11.30, with teacher Gordon Keenan. This is under the auspices of the North York Board of Education and is free.
The next two bi-monthly dances at Bernard Betel are on Sunday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 30 at 7.30 p.m. Cost is $2 per person for mjembers, $2.50 for non^members.
