ARAB/ISRAELI CONFLICT
David Goldb^, editor of The Domestic Battleground: Canada and the Arab/Israeli Conflict, will be speaking at Chapters Bookstore-Cafe, 2360 YongeSt., on Monday, Aug. 14, at 7:30 p.m.
Prof. Goldberg and his co^itor David Tarns have brought together articles by scholars with differing perspectives^ all devoted to the study of Canada's policy toward the Middle East. The positions of Canadian leaders — from Mackenzie King to Brian Mulroney are examined, as are the lobby groups Who attempted to ih^ fluence Canadian policy.

COMPUTER HEBREW & ART
Computer H^rew is ^nsoringan art-oriented program at 11 Walker Rd. (Yonge and Sheppard area). This program is most suited to early grade children. Classes are two hours long divided evenly between Hebrew and Judaica arts and crafts.; ; , Computer Hebrew is also offering a program at the Lodz Synagogue, 12 Heaton St. (Bathurst and Sheppard). Thomhill classes continue at 103 Dundum Cres. (2 blocks east of Bathurst along Atkinson).
Classes at all locations are limited to small groups of 4-6 children per teacher and emphasis is on congregational melodies, Hebrew reading and comprehension, holiday celebrations, and Torah services.
Many students from the program celebrate bar and bat mitzvah services at the Lodz Synagogue, which also runs its own bar mitzvah preparation program.

YOGA VOLUNTEERS
The multiple Sclerosis Society needs men and women to assist in the adapted yoga program for adults with MS.
The program consists of three sessions — fall, winter and spring —and begins mid-September. Various locations and schedules are available. Experience is an asset but not essential as the cer-afied instructor can train volunteers.
