Undeterred by the sub-zero temperatures ana heavy overnight accumulation of snow on the , roads; the Indians community in Ottawa mustered in strength at the auditorium of the Rideau Campus of Algonquin \CoIlege to witness! a five-hour cultural program: arranged in connection with {the Indian } Republic Day (Sunday^ January 26(.
Organised under the joint auspices of the India-Canada Association, the Indian Students* Association and the Algonquin College j Cultural Society, the prognLmj began with the Deputy , High ! Commissioner for India in Canada, K.N. Bafc$hi, reading out the n}es$*ge of the President of India; Ifakhrudditt AJi Ahmed, broadcast over AJMndia Radio on . the. eye of the 25th anniversary of the Indian Republic.
