New Delhi, (UNI) - The non-aligned countries decided to set up in India during this year a non-aligned centre for science and technology to facilitate co-operation in the field. The Economic Committee of the non-aligned foreign mjn: asters' conference accepted India's proposal to set up the
centre. A conference >i esmaii said the centre would be financed by all the non-aligned countries.
The committee also endorsed a proposal by Madagascar to establish three funds for the hpn-aligned countries. They are: A common monetary fund, a commodity stabilisation fund arid a development fund.

New Delhi, (UNI) - India ranked fourth, ahead of France. Germany and the Scandinavian countries, in bagging projects financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) last'year.
Out of the 13.7 million dollars spent; by the ADB during September 1979 to September 1980, Indian enterprises cornered 7,5 pel cent of the projects financed.
Only Canada, US and the United Kingdom are ahead of India. The Bank, which pooled the resources of member countries, advanced Joans to developing countries for various projects.
Watermelon juice plant
Calcutta, (UNI) - The Sundarbans Development Board (SOB) proposes to set up a plant at the Sagar Island in the Bay of Bengal to produce watermelon juice and squash, according to an SDB source.
Described as a "new line off venture\', the plant will be set up with technical assistance from vjadavpur University. A group of food technologists of the University has developed a technique for the processing of watermelon, a summer delicacy.
The proposal to set up the plant aims at making the; watermelon cultivation profitable for the farmers and popularising its juice and squash.
