Liekki was a weekly Finnish language literary magazine published in Sudbury, Ontario between December 1935 and June 1974, when it merged with the newspaper Vapaus, also published in Sudbury. The resulting publication, Viikkosanomat, moved to Toronto. Later, the paper resumed the Vapaus name and was published until 1990, after which it was replaced by the bilingual magazine Kaiku, meaning “Echo.” Issues dating from 1935 to 1957 have been digitized and are made available here.
